Our Concept

Authentic Japanese dining meets London

Visit us for lunch, afternoon tea, or dinner to experience Japanese-style omotenashi hospitality. The most popular item on the menu at AKIRA is the omakase three-course menu, which offers a wide array of Japanese tastes and flavours, including fresh sashimi, grilled skewers, and sushi. Wagyu beef croquettes prove popular among regular AKIRA patrons, along with the matcha green tea Mille-Crepe cake for dessert. You can also enjoy the Japanese bar, adjacent to the restaurant, serving an array of sake and original cocktails made using Japanese ingredients such as rare sake, yuzu, and shiso.

Presenting the very best of Japanese art, design, gastronomy, innovation, and technology, Japan House London provides an authentic encounter with Japan. The Japan House London experience is completed by a visit to us, AKIRA Restaurant on the first floor. Open for lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner (Tuesday to Saturday), we deliver a special Japanese dining experience offering outstanding cuisine, beautifully presented on carefully selected tableware.
